5 out of 5 eggsWorks in every way I've asked

Pros: Just works, immediately, no drivers or problems at all.

I've used it with several machines so far including H81, x79 and H97 platforms, and a Surface Pro 3.

Cons: none at this time.

Other Thoughts: My cable did allow me to use my keyboard in bios although seeing as someone else had an issue with it, this may be motherboard/keyboard dependent.

Using mine with a 1987 IBM Model M

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: May work for you if you don't need to use the KB/Mouse in BIOS. Convenient small adapter.

Cons: Did NOT work for what I wanted.
This adapter did not allow the KB/Mouse to be used in the BIOS program, which is what I wanted it for.
To do that, the converter needs to have active electronics, which this device apparently does not have.
So, it connects the wires from PS/2 to USB, but without the electronic conversion, the BIOS program won't recognize them.

Other Thoughts: For the price, I was not surprised it did not have active electronics. This can work fine in the OS environment. But if you need your KB/Mouse for BIOS, get something else.

5 out of 5 eggsworks just fine

Pros: Extended the life of my old but rugged and trusty Dell keyboard which, otherwise, would have been discarded along with my Pentium 3 pc. I have no use the mouse input, however.

Cons: None that matters.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with Windows 7!

Pros: Just couldn't part with my old Microsoft Natural Multimedia Keyboard during upgrade. Contacted Mfg prior to purchase, they said they tested it and they were right! Now works fine and even before installing MS Intellipoint software, mute/volume/standby all work.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: NewEgg listing should be updated to show Win7 application since MFG's own site, shows compatibility. (my new tower was sans PS2 inputs)
