Pros: Used this adapter on 840 EVO 1TB mSATA drive to correctly format it and prep it for it be put in my iPod Classic.

Worked great for that.

Pros: Inexpensive and works well for pulling data off a MSATA drive that was built into a damaged laptop

Cons: The retention clip doesn't seat the drive the best. If you plan on doing on mounting this in a case I would look into another product that uses a screw down mount similar to what you would find in a laptop. The clip will hold the drive well enough if you are just using this for external data transfer, but I would be worried about it eventually popping free.

Pros: Worked as designed.

Other Thoughts: I wish it included some brackets to mount to different form factors.

Cons: Don't have it. Been waiting over 3 weeks for delivery and making the SSD I bought useless.

Pros: If you are like me and bought this and didn't realize it doesn't fit a regular sata desktop don't fear buy a convertor and it will work fine.I bought this convertor on newegg when I realized it doesn't fit normal sata and this converted it to work with normal sata look up 1 x SYBA SY-ADA40050 Mini-SATA to 2.5" SATA Adapter.Works fine in my desktop with this converter and it is really fast my windows 7 install boots up in less then 10 seconds and everything loads extremely fast.Great performance so far now I just hope it lasts a long time.

Pros: Works Great no problems use m-sata as SSD Drive.Runs at rated speeds! 7.9 W.E.I. primary hard disk score . Did not have to sell my m-sata drive.

Cons: a Little bit of a problem with the oval hole shape made it harder to HDD Mount screws would not fit through holes had to use different size screws no big deal.

Other Thoughts: I am Happy with this great solution to not having an msata slot on my M.S.I. motherboard that My Gigiabyte Board did have. I did not see that it supported this drive unless I missed it but someones comment gave me assurance that mine would also work!! Cheers:)

Pros: Price

Cons: Will not hold the drive I purchased it for. I have Crucial M4 256 and the msata will not seat in the adapter.

Other Thoughts: Waste of money. It took a while to try the msata and I wished it would have noted that certain drives will not fit.
