Pros: Does exactly what you want it for. It ALSO has a little USB out on it which means you could technically use this as an external drive, though the Msata is exposed so i would suggest you don't.

Pros: Looks good and sturdy. Fairly easy to put together

Cons: USB didn't work out of the box; Drive detection is intermittent; will not stay connected.

Other Thoughts: I decided to use this device with my Crucial mSATA 256 SSD drive in my Home Server since the 64GB SSD I was originally going to use was too small. Started the installation of WHS2011 to the drive and it started the unattended install. It never finished, the drive disappeared from the system never to be seen again.

Pros: Didn't catch fire like the replacement Syba (different model number) did. NE Took care of my issue.

Cons: Initially tried using USB, which didn't work at all (like other reviewers have stated). When attempting to use a USB->SATA converter cable (which has worked fine with most everything else I've tried it with, including the StarTech adapter that I ultimately replaced this device with) it wouldn't maintain a connection whilst attempting a clone from another SSD. Replacement caught fire...will not be purchasing anything else from Syba.

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for the StarTech model. Of the two Syba models I tried neither worked and one caught fire...not a good track record.

Pros: I'd rate these as Perfect 5 Star ***** Units to work with SSD drives. Unlike full enclosure cases with tops/lids, these feature an open top unit which makes it easier to access, unscrew, reinstall or swap. The added bonus is the micro-USB cable connections that allow these to work as external units too. So far, All Darn Good!

Cons: None So Far.

Pros: It does the job.

Cons: One of the holes for mounting the SSD was stripped from the start. Provided screws wouldn't get enough thread to bite and tighten even a little bit.

Other Thoughts: Wish it came with screws to mount also.

Other Thoughts: 10mm thick. Keep this in mind if you were planning on using this, with a mSATA drive, in a newer laptop that requires a thin 2.5" drive.

Pros: Nice plastic case for mounting and handling.
USB port for external access as well.

Cons: Purchased before I needed to use.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this so I would have it next time I needed to use is on a customers computer only to find out is does not work. Only comes with a 30-day warranty from manufacturer and I have had it for over 90 days. I tried 3 different mSATA cards from 2 different manufacturers and none of them show up. Computer doesn't even see a new device connected. Now I am stuck with an not so cheap paper weight or case shim.

I am contacting the manufacturer even though it is past warranty. Hope I get a response from them otherwise I won't be buying Syba again.

Lesson learned: Thuroughly test purchase within warranty period.
