Other Thoughts: This cable is great. No need to pay $10+ for a cat6 cable. There all the same. As long as its built to standard, its going to be the same.

Pros: Good cables, seem to be made of high quality and they work great.

Pros: Black - good length - inexpensive.

Cons: The ends of these cables have something wrong with them. Most of the time I can not get them to connect. When they do connect, it is only at 100base-t. Running a diagnostic on these cables shows incomplete pairing of the wires, which usually means a bad crimp job. I am going to have to go through and re-terminate these cables to make them worth while, as it is not worth my time or money to return them.

Cons: My server won't do 1G with them, only does 100M (it has dual 1G NIC). It's definitely not my server's problem, it works fine on 1G with another cable.
My NAS can't recognize them at all.
They're hard to get out, the shield is plastic and a bit hard.

Pros: Cable tranfers data just fine.

Cons: One end of the cable does not lock, it pulls right out of whatever it's plugged into. Cost too much to try and send it back. Shipping is twice what the cable costs!! Even when ordering multiple items, no combined shipping or discounts, shame on you newegg.

Other Thoughts: When ordering cheap items and they arive bad, your just out the money, because it costs more to replace them. Just keep this in mind when ordering from newegg.
