5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: -Works.
-Durable.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I purchased a 50 ft first, but since the cable was too tight (hanging in the air) I decided to get this one. 2 years still sends internet.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb SAT 6 cable!

Pros: Delivers what would be expected from a SAT6 grade cable; amazing speed.

Cons: Connectors on cable are a little flimsy but that is quite alright considering the great price.

5 out of 5 eggsJob done

Pros: It's a 100ft cat 6 cable and it works.

Cons: The outside could be a little tougher, but I am being really picky.

1 out of 5 eggsFAIL!!!!!

Pros: The cable is indeed a CAT 6 cable

Cons: The connectors were not wired correctly.

I could NOT achieve 1 Gbps.

Other Thoughts: If I buy a cat 6 cable, I expect to be able to achieve 1 Gbps. I had to put my own connectors on in order to get the cable to perform to specifications. I bought cat 6 because I had to go 100 feet and I did not think that cat 5e could get the job done.

The time I wasted fixing this cable was not worth the time and gas spent getting the supplies and performing repairs. Given the choice, I would have bought from a local dealer and paid more.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not provide Gbit Lan!! Garbage cable!

Pros: Cheap, desired color.

Cons: The cable is not true cat6! I'm not sure if the cable is wired incorrectly because I didn't bother to cut it open as I simply wanted to return it. After noticing the adapter properties claimed the connection was 100 Mbps, I tried to manually set the duplex/speed to 1Gbps with no hope. I then removed the connection and replaced it with a shorter cat5e cable and the connection at both ends were 1.0Gbps. Therefore I know it was nothing wrong with the adapters ability to push Gbit LAN. Furthermore, I connected the purchased cable between two computers and transferred a large file achieving ~10MB/sec transfer which is comparable to 80Mbps, I then connected my cat5e and tried the same transfer achieving ~90MB/sec. comparable to 720Mbps. This cable is garbage....

Other Thoughts: I can see that many people would give it positive reviews for the price and not even realize they aren't connected at Gbit speed. There are many adapters that don't even support the connection. Being as I'm trying to stream high bitrate 1080 video, I depend on the high transfer rate. Please save yourself and don't buy this cable!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal (Exlamation)

Pros: Simply the girth alone is worth it's price! No, seriously. I put my cables through some pretty rigorous conditions, and since with is a cat6 cable it can withstand a great deal. While I didn't notice a great increase in internet speed (probably due to the other 8 computer's that are always on at my house) I did notice a more consistent data transfer compared to the old beat up cat5 I used to have. Two thumbs up, 5 eggs, the whole shebang - it's a great deal.

Cons: The protective cap that this cable has over the connection point, plug, is a bit difficult to get through. Which results in a rather tedious time attempting to unplug from my laptop and into my desktop. Not a big deal, just a minuet con.

5 out of 5 eggsFast!

Pros: It's a very fast cable with a stable connection. Wasn't DoA.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Waaaaaaaaaaaaay longer than what I needed it for, but that's my fault. Just be aware that 100ft is LONG.

1 out of 5 eggsGood cable, bad connectors

Pros: Cheap 100 ft Cat 6 cable

Cons: The cables can't connect at Gigabit speed. The RJ45 connectors are not made according to standard wiring configuration, T568A or T568B.

Other Thoughts: It would only connect at 100Mb/s. After looking at the RJ45 connectors closely, the wiring of the connectors are all wrong. I have replace all the RJ45 connectors with the correct wiring to get Gigabit speed. I brought 2 cables and they are both wired wrong the same way.
