5 out of 5 eggsrock solid

Pros: can't beat this deal. good quality cat6, very low price, newegg service. bought several of these to replace old in box freebie cat5s across my entire home network. They all worked, all the right length and i noticed an increase in speed within my network immediately.

Cons: none, they're cables, they work.

Other Thoughts: really is worth getting cat6 at this price. just make sure your router and network card are both 1kMbps speed otherwise cat5/cat5e is just fine.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst Cable EVER!!!!!!

Pros: Cable did not catch fire once connected.

Cons: This is by far the WORST Ethernet cable I have ever encountered. A 5 year old child could put together a better cable then this. I bought 3 variations of these and NONE worked. When I say they did not work I do not mean 1000Mb, I mean at all. Zero connectivity with all 3, might as well have used a piece of string. Do not buy this cable for any reason. I will never purchase another Link Depot cable for as long as I live.

Other Thoughts: How do you screw up a cable? My favorite is the "100% Quality Checked" label on the packaging. Do they really expect me to believe the cable was damaged during shipping?? This cable did not work when it left the factory. Oh and if you wish to return it the shipping will cost more then the cable itself. Do yourself a favor and buy a cable made by any other company then Link Depot.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a Cat 6 cable

Pros: It works, it's red, and it has a protective shield so the snap-tabs do not break off.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have too many black and blue ethernet cables, I'll be using different colored cables for each source from now on.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Buy

Pros: Works

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I bought these hoping I would get a little boost in internet speed and I'm not really sure if it helped. I went to a speedtest website, before switching out the old CAT5e Cables, and it took about 20 seconds and told me 12.26mbps. I put these new cables in and noticed it only took about 5 seconds and told me 9.60mbps. I retested than got 12.40mbps. The speedtest goes a lot faster but it doesnt seem like the results come out like the Cat5e did. You really shouldnt have cat6 cables unless you have a 1GB download rate. In other words a really fast connection that costs you about $100 a month.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: It works, it's cheap... it's red.

Cons: It doesn't not work?

Other Thoughts: I mean, it's a network cable, I'm saying it works so get the cheapest thing you can find. These things can't be made wrong, or at least not very often.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great cable. Download speed went from a range of 15 meg - 17 meg to a constant 18.5 to 20 meg. Max bandwidth is 22meg down. Upload is always around 2meg. Much better then the CAT5 cables I was using. Though about CAT5E. For a few bucks more lets try these. Works perfectly.

Cons: If any it is the stiffness of the cable, would like a little more flexibility. But then thats probably why they are so great.

Other Thoughts: None

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: works fine, just as a cable should.

Cons: these cables have plastic cores inside them which makes it a little more difficult when you are cutting them up and putting on new connectors. not a con if you dont plan on cutting it though.

Other Thoughts: nice red color.
