4 out of 5 eggsLink Depot USB cable

Pros: It's a cable.
It works for what I want it to.

Cons: None so far. Seems to be one of the better brands. I've had problems with a couple of other companies makes.

Other Thoughts: Needed them for work to connect my laptop to test tools. They work for that purpose.

4 out of 5 eggsworks

Pros: Data transfers successfully through this cable.

Cons: The cable was a little stiff. It would have been nice to have some additional flexibility.

Other Thoughts: I'm running this between a dell dimension and a music hall dac25.2. It sounds great.

1 out of 5 eggsWill not power USB devices

Pros: It does allow transfer of data.

Cons: It will not power small USB devices such as a WD Passport portable hard drive. I own thinner and cheaper USB cables that do power external hard drives without the need of an AC Adapter, so all three of these cables are going back to NewEgg. This is a seriously flawed product.

Other Thoughts: You might not need this cable to power anything right now and might be happy with just data transfer, but do you really want to own such a near-useless item and then one day accidentally take it with you on a trip and/or rely on it when you really need only to find out it was one of your 'junk cables' ? I think not.

2 out of 5 eggsyou get what you pay for

Pros: Cheap (see below)

Cons: Cheaply made. I bought to charge my Droid phone, and it does not make proper contact with the female end on the phone. The result is that I must nudge and tap the connection into precisely the right spot, otherwise no charge. At first I though this was an issue with my phone, however, the (shorter) cable provided with the phone does not exhibit this problem.

Other Thoughts: Perhaps I just got a lemon.

5 out of 5 eggsMark

Pros: - 6 ft. long
- works well with PSP2000

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: This is a good USB 2.0 cable to use with your PSP for data transfer from your memory stick pro duo to your computer.
