3 out of 5 eggsSometimes OK to useful

Pros: Extremely easy to set up. Small; remote control works as intended. Not expensive.

Cons: The connection of my Blu-Ray player (Panasonic DMP-BD605K) playing a DVD caused TV power off every few minutes. It is not clear if that was caused by the program material or the player, but without the switcher between the player and the TV there was no power off ever. The second observation I made was that the TV volume would oscillate at about 2 Hz after switching to cable TV input. That volume oscillation disappears after turning the TV off and back on.

Other Thoughts: I got and installed the switcher while waiting to get my ONKYO home theater receiver repaired. I will keep the switcher until I get the ONKYO back from repair. None of the difficulties I experienced with the switcher ever happened with the receiver's HDMI channel switching.

4 out of 5 eggsgood product

Pros: Works as advertised, remote has good range. Picture quality is good.

Cons: Remote is pretty small, I might lose it. LED indicator lights are nuclear explosion bright. I don't need lights on when the unit is turned on.

Other Thoughts: I bought it because my TV only has one HDMI port and it turned it into 3. It's a great product for people with older HDTV's. Price was right.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine for me!

Pros: OK This little guy has worked just fine for me, i dont understand where the issues are for everyone else. I have my Direct TV HD box, my XBOX 360, and my PS3 all hooked up to it and it works flawlessly. The remote is quite handy and probably would be more usefull if i knew where it was =P

Cons: The only Con tha that i have with this switch is the remote. To use it, you really have to be directly right in front of the box to use it. There isnt a problem with range, its all point of view. Im not going to take an egg away from it for that though.

Other Thoughts: I have a sony grand wega 46", it has no issues with this switch at all. I would even go so far as to say it enjoys the company =P

1 out of 5 eggsFinicky, cheap

Pros: * Quick and easy to hook up.

* When functioning, picture quality seems good.

Cons: * Pronounced "flicker" or image.

* Image periodically drops to pink "snow" static for periods of one second or so.

* Occasionally drops picture all together, and the input has to be reselected to display picture again.

* Switching inputs from both the remote or the device itself is slow, very unresponsive.

* AC power connection does not fit well. It isn't loose, but there is lots of wiggle room, and the cord does not seem to connect at a straight angle. It currently doesn't seem to have a negative effect, but very well could in the future.

* No power button, either on the remote or on the panel of the device. There is only a rocker switch on the rear of the device.

Other Thoughts: Its very small and unobtrusive. The LEDs are quite bright. It feels a bit cheap.

The main reason for having one of these is for good video output. The device has potential, but unfortunately fails to achieve this. An HDMI switch is something necessary for us early adopters with TVs having few if any HDMI ports. Perhaps an inexpensive option is unavailable at this time.

I have emailed their Customer Support. I have not yet received a response.

1 out of 5 eggsNo Work

Pros: None

Cons: Intermittently worked with Hannsg PC monitor. Never worked with Comcast cable TV box. Piece of junk.

Other Thoughts: Not worth getting RMA. Don't buy this.

5 out of 5 eggsuseful and inexpensive

Pros: It's SMALL, I put it inside my entertainment center, right ontop of my cable box.
I pluged in my cable box, xbox 360 and ps3, and they all work perfectly, so now I have 4 HDMI ports total, since the TV had only 2.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Gonna get another one so I will have 6 ports total, I dont care to use the remote control, so they wont interfere with eachother when I do use 2 of these.

3 out of 5 eggsOk switch with problems

Pros: For the most part this switch works perfectly. I have had some problems at times getting my xBox 360 to show up, but usually switching back and forth will correct the issue.

Cons: As I mentioned above, it does seem to randomly have problems recognizing that there is a signal. Also last week the number 1 button on the remote stopped working which pretty much eliminates the whole purpose of having a remote to change the sources. Now I have to get up and manually press the Select button every time I want to use source 1.

Other Thoughts: I guess you get what you pay for in the end. It worked great for about a year, but now I'll be doing research to find a replacement.

3 out of 5 eggsNot worth the money

Pros: It works... sort of. It does allow you to connect up to three HDMI devices to a TV single HDMI input. Cheap price.

Cons: The output HDMI suffers from signal loss to my HD TV.
If more than one device is connected to this switch the signal is weakened. It showed up as lines in my Satellite TV HD Box when I had a PC connected. No matter what I did, when my HD satellite box still put lines in the HDMI display.
Only if I bypassed this switch did the lines go away. Can't use it.

Other Thoughts: I'll look for another switch with higher signal quality. This one is not worth the money.

4 out of 5 eggsHDMI Switch on a Budget

Pros: Does what it says with no errors so far.

Cons: Now power button on remote so you have to get up to turn it off.

Other Thoughts: Just a power button on the remote would be nice. Other than that its a great buy for people on a budget. I am glad I bought it.

3 out of 5 eggsLoses signal

Pros: No signal loss. compact design. solid construction.

Cons: When using my PS3 and XBOX 360 the unit keeps losing signal.

Tech support is non existant. I emailed them and they never responded.

Other Thoughts: I would have rated this item lower, but I may have just received a defective item. Tech support never responded to me however.
