Cons: doa and waited to long to try it out so now it's trash and I'm out the $$.

Pros: In my case, in comparison to USB2 connection, this cable, when connected to USB3.0 and using Asus Turbo Mode, gives 4.5 times increase of rate. With this cable I have the real, stable and reproducible read/write rate of 126 Megabytes/sec (it was 28 MB/s on USB2) .

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I was lucky to buy it for $5.99 here long ago and for that price it was real bargin. I tested it and compared with a good USB2 cable and supposedly high quality original USB 3.0 4 feet cable taken from Seagate GoFlex external drive kit. Compared to the Seagate short USB3.0 cable the rate is exactly the same. Compared to USB2 - 4.5 times faster.
I use this cable and the USB 3.0 to internal SATA HDD adaptor (taken from Seagate GoFlex external HDD kit) to connect my old SATA2 500 GB internal HDD to USB 3.0 connector on my desktop PC.

Pros: The Cable does work at reduced speed and is long

Cons: Does not work at USB 3.0 speeds, replaced the stock cable on my external drive. Transfer speeds went from 130 MB/s to 38 MB/s. I'll have to find something else.

Cons: This does not work, when plugged into my usb drive, it makes the drive click. perhaps there is a power transfer problem in the cable length. drive works fine with the cable the came with it. i would probably get a shorter cable since this one obviously doesnt work.
