1 out of 5 eggsIf I could give them less than 1 star I would

Pros: - There are no pros

Cons: - The connector is bulky and can not be placed side by side on GTX980 graphics cards.
- Cheap plastic. I had to cut away the side to afore the detent button it appeared to be glued to the side
- i bought 3 ... one worked ( after i modified it to allow the detents to move ) 1... never worked, and 1 went bad while plugged in.

Other Thoughts: Please save your time and money on these, they are probably the worst thing I have ever bought. Like I said in the cons only 1 out of 3 worked but that was after I modified it.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes Not support 120Hz

Pros: Generic black displayport cable as expected.

Cons: The specifications said support for 120hz. I can not get the cable to perform more than 85Hz. I am really disappointed at the overall quality in ALL of the displayport cables. it is a hit or miss thing with displayport and anything more than 1080P 60hz.

Other Thoughts: I tried looking for a product that stated support for what I wanted. But even then, I was sold a product that does not meet displayport's specifications.

MY Benq XL2420TE works at 120Hz on DVI but I got a new laptop with a GTX 980M with 2 Displayport. I just want a simple cable that can do 1920X1080 at 120hz. This is the same bandwidth as a 2K monitor.

Displayport as a standard says that if a cable is certified it should do 4K, but it's almost impossible to find a certified cable. It is nit just link depot, its allot of vendors putting out cheap cables that don't meet spec. I have tried 6 cables at this point with zero success.

5 out of 5 eggsIt Works

Pros: Does exactly what it is supposed to and is plenty long for the price.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Don't try and pull the cable out without pinching the release; or let a friend try it. I had a friend almost yank my video card out while trying to unplug it.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well enough

Pros: When connected, works flawlessly with sound and everything at 1920x1080@144hz (connecting a Thinkpad x220 to a VG248QE monitor), and is longer than I'll probably ever need it to be.

Cons: The cable connectors aren't built too solidly and sometimes the connection can get cut off if the connector is wiggled while still in the slot. Combine this with the cable being sort of thick and stiff and it's not a great idea to use this cable to connect anything that will be moving around a lot. Also, it's 15 feet long, so if you're connecting a monitor to a computer right next to it, maybe you want a shorter cable.

Other Thoughts: I'm not able to test this, but there's a slight chance that the cable might not work if you're trying to run a resolution higher than 1080p since the cable's so long.

3 out of 5 eggsToo Long

Pros: Worked fine up to 1080p, very cheap for the length.

Cons: My fault for not looking into it, but the specs could do a better job to emphasize that it's TOO LONG to do 2560x1440. Had to buy a shorter cable.

Other Thoughts: Pay attention to specs when trying new technology.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works fine. Longer than most cables.

Cons: Initially I had some issues with slight flickering causing the screen to go black for a frame or so randomly, but after redoing the connectors it's been perfectly fine for weeks.

Other Thoughts: Monitor: Dell UltraSharp U2312HM
GPU: ASUS DirectCU II HD7970
