Even when it was working it would not produce sound on CEC compatible, HEC and ARC HDMI input/outputs. I used on a Windows 8 Pro convertible with MiniDisplay port , version 2 3-D capable HDMI cable and an active 3-D Samsung LED Monitor. The sound would never work and the monitor would work most of the time for about a week. But if I would even nudge the computer/adapter input a little then I would lose the connection....meaning if you get it to display then don't move or it quits working. I guess this is what you get for the money. I don't think I'll even go through the hassle of returning. Other Thoughts: Did not try with a Mac computer. Did you find this review helpful? Pros: Good form factor.

Cons: Many...mainly it does not work.

I had for about a week before it quit working. Even when it was working it would not produce sound on CEC compatible, HEC and ARC HDMI input/outputs.

I used on a Windows 8 Pro convertible with MiniDisplay port , version 2 3-D capable HDMI cable and an active 3-D Samsung LED Monitor.

The sound would never work and the monitor would work most of the time for about a week. But if I would even nudge the computer/adapter input a little then I would lose the connection....meaning if you get it to display then don't move or it quits working.

I guess this is what you get for the money. I don't think I'll even go through the hassle of returning.

Other Thoughts: Did not try with a Mac computer.
