5 out of 5 eggsGreta Value

Pros: This is a good quality cable. The rubber boot makes it easy to remove.

Cons: Only available in black

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cable!

Pros: My connection speed has been noticeably higher since I installed it (upgraded from cat5 to cat5e).

The installation of this cable did involve fish taping it down two floors, and as the owner of the house I'm aware that the "conduits" (read: holes in the floorboards) in my wall are very tight. During the dozens of pushes and pulls and yanks, the sheathing never ripped. All in all, this cable is pretty durable!

Cons: The only problem I've had with the cable concerns the boot around the connector. Sometimes it's difficult to pull the cable out because the boot bunches around the tab and makes pushing it down (my cable's plugged into a really tight spot) an issue. But this is a nitpick at best.

Other Thoughts: In order to run this cable through my wall conduit, I had to cut the entire connector off of one end and attach a new one afterwards. Consequently, that end of the cable no longer has a boot. I'm making due with a wrapping of electricians tape, but it would have been awesome to have an extra boot included so I could have maintained the professional look. I can't believe I'm the only one who has to resort to this technique to make ends meet.
