5 out of 5 eggsAnd for only one payment of 19.99

Pros: Got this to fix an issue with my Corsair D800 front headphone jack crapping out (no help from Corsair btw). This little bugger puts out great sound for the price. Used the surround sound software turned on my PVR1600 and watched HDTV 5.1 surround and got blown away. With the headphones on sounded as though people were all around me.

Cons: Have this plugged into a front horizontal USB port, and not sure if the cord weight and all will put stress on the 1/4 plug in portion of this unit, only time will tell.

Other Thoughts: Windows 7 X64 ultimate installed with no problems used software disc after Windows 7 found its drivers.

Cons: Nothing that I noticed.

Pros: Had a client that wanted audio on a Windows Server 2003 system that did not have the correct slots for a normal PCI audio card, this was an affordable solution that got the job done.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for Hackintosh Community

Pros: using a MSI Wind with OS X installed you can use this adapter to regain control of your audio input/output since there are still issues with getting the OEM audio card working. See MSIwind forums for more info,

Cons: SO far none, solved a huge peeve of mine

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for what it is

Pros: It does exactly what it says it will do. 7.1 effects from two speakers. The utilities work fine, and I've had no problems with the drivers in WINXP. If you are using a laptop (or PC) with a cheesy sound card, this is a nice cheap upgrade.

Cons: Nothing worthy of noting

Other Thoughts: I have used this for gaming and listening to music. The sound difference between my D600 work laptop output (snaps, crackles and pops) and the USB output (nothing but what I'm playing) is amazing.

Pros: It sounds good and does what it says. Great for traveling

Cons: After three weeks it died. Siig would not return emails, although twice I received an email that they received my email. Just remember NO SERVICE OR SUPPORT
