SIIG's DisplayPort (M) to DVI (F) adapter is designed for connecting DisplayPort-equipped desktop or notebook computers to work with DVI-D Single Link equipped monitors, providing optimal video quality. It comes with latching 20-pin DisplayPort (male) to 24-pin DVI (female) connectors to prevent accidental disconnection along with LED indicator for cable link status. This "Dongle" style DisplayPort (M) to DVI (F) Adapter is a cost-effective solution to enable you to easily adapt your DisplayPort systems to work with DVI displays.

The DisplayPort (M) to DVI (F) Adapter delivers video bandwidth of up to 1.65 Gb/s. It supports HDTV resolutions up to 1080p, PC VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA and UXGA display modes (up to 1900 x 1200), and HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) on HDCP compliant DVI displays. It is fully compliant with DisplayPort 1.1 (both 1.62 & 2.7 Gb/s) and DVI 1.0 (up to 1.65 Gb/s) specifications and backed by SIIG's limited lifetime warranty.

Anonymous 9/15/2011 1:01:06 PM Ownership: 1/5	Rating: 3/5Works, but.... This review is from: SIIG CB-DP0711-S1 DisplayPort (M) to DVI (F) Adapter Pros: Works as it is supposed to. Cons: On my PCI card, the displayPort is too close to the DVI port, so I had to remove the connecting screw on the DVI cable to allow the adapter to fit with the second DVI cable. Buy an adapter with a cable between the displayport and the DVI connector so there is more room for two connections. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you?
