SIIG's DisplayPort (M) to HDMI (F) Adapter is designed for connecting DisplayPort-equipped computers to HDMI-equipped monitors or televisions. This "Dongle" style adapter comes with latching 20-pin DisplayPort (male) to 19-pin HDMI (female) connectors to prevent accidental disconnection, LED indicator for cable link status, and quad-shielded cable with PVC jacket to prevent signal loss while providing maximum video performance and optimal video quality. It is the cost-effective solution to instantly adapt your DisplayPort systems to work with your HDMI monitors.

The DisplayPort (M) to HDMI (F) Adapter delivers video bandwidth of up to 2.25 Gb/s. Pros: Great price

Cons: Shockingly poor video quality. This is probably because I did not realize that the max resolution for this connector is 1900 x 1200. My monitor is 1920 x 1080. ehhh :-(

Pros: Fit and finish are good. No issues getting the HDMI cable in or inserting this in the DisplayPort. Signal is clean - no degradation.

Pros: Works perfect. Carries both video and audio perfectly with an HDMI cable. I didn't have to do anything but hook it up for it to work with my TV's video and audio.

Cons: The very small little protrusions used to lock the adapter into the port are rather pointy/sharp. Just make sure you always press the button down when ejecting it or you might scrape up the upper inside of your DisplayPort port.
