5 out of 5 eggsComplaints?

Pros: I've had mine for a couple years now and it works wonders.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've read all the comments on here to date and for those who 80% who are complaining about the Blue LED's being to bright... You can do what I did... Take a small flat head screw driver and pop the lights. They'll never work again unless you change the bulb and some think it's stupid to just "break" them, but hey... Alot of us run red LED's, not blue and this doesn't come in any other color, so we make due with what we have. Taping over it makes for an ugly sight. I have seven 120MM fans in my case and each and every one of them are Red LED ones, so the blue didn't suit me. My 2,400 dollar computer does what "I" want and "I" control what goes in it, so... If you don't want Bright Blue LEDs and you don't wanna cover the lights with ugly tape and you don't want to break the bulbs... Just don't buy this. So many complaints over something so tiny and so easy to remedy...

Well, that's my two-cents on this...

I personally love the product and should I ever need another, I will most certainly buy more.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple Solution

Pros: I owned this for nearly 5 years now and it still works. It's a simple solution for those with cases with a lot of fans.

Just hookup a single molex to power it. Then you can hook up a total of 6 fans as long they use 3 pin connector. It's a very simple device that will help with cable cable management.

Cons: Nothing.

Other Thoughts: If the color of the LED's don't match your color theme you have in your case. If you got any sort of soldering skill then you could easy replace the LED's to match your color theme.

If you just don't any to see the LED's anymore. You could get a paint pen and just cover the LED's up.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
Thank you for your review.
Hope you enjoy your product!

5 out of 5 eggsBrilliant

Pros: Small, simple, easy to install, and does exactly what it was designed for.

Cons: Not really a con, since this is in a case with no window, but the blue LED is very bright--almost blindingly so.

Other Thoughts: I was actually looking for something exactly like this when I did a build in an Antec 600 case for my grandfather, to run in conjunction with the 4-pack of CoolerMaster fans. I didn't want a flashy multi-channel controller for it (one of which, coincidentally, I bought for my own case), and I found this. Dropped it in, plugged all the fans into it and it works like a charm. I'll be dropping one of these in my next build, in a Corsair 500R case.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: works just fine

handles all the extra fans in my new antec DF-85 case

Cons: 1 egg off for the bright blue LEDs which clash with my red fan LEDs.

Other Thoughts: I wish the LEDs were either not so bright, or came in different colors

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Easy to install and use. Unit is small and provides power to 6 fans. Worked great powering all but one of my DF-85 Case fans.

Cons: Blue LEDs are a bit bright and blue doesnt match the DF-85 red LED fans. No issue however as I was able to stash it behind the drive bays with LEDs facing side panel. Cant even see them...

5 out of 5 eggsMFPP

Pros: I have a HAF932 case and replaced two of the 230mm fans with 7 120mm because they would not spin up properly. I now have 12 fans in this case. needless to say, those fans have to plug in somewhere. The Sunbeam was a good choice for me. One molex plug to power it and 6 of those fans plugged in to it. Its versatile, can put it pretty much place wherever you have room and it is a good cable management solution. No complaints..

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsGood add on for lower end Mobos!

Pros: Good little unit for those lower end motherboards that don't have the extra fan controllers. Currently running 4 80mm LED case fans beautifully. Does as advertised except device port LEDs are always on if there is power running to it. It doesn't metter if there is a fan plugged into the port or not. So I have to take an egg for misleading/false advertising. Sorry Sunbeam, it has to do what you say it will. Other than that, it is a very small & easily mountable in any setup, I would imagine. Great price as well!!

Cons: False advertising on the led on/off sequence.

5 out of 5 eggsA simple solution

Pros: - Does exactly what you imagine it would do: It adds places for more fans.
- It's black, so it matches most color themes.

Cons: - The double sided tape is weak. Be sure to hold it firmly for a while.
- No way to control speed.

Other Thoughts: I'd recommend getting some velco tape, and securing it to the case with that so it can be removed at will. Doubly so if you're choosing to mount it inside a disk cage.

The lack of speed control shouldn't bother you if you're using low-noise fans, or have a low-noise case. Otherwise, just know that the fans will be going at full speed (depending on voltage) at all times.
