5 out of 5 eggsLove NewEgg

Pros: Good thick cable. I had an electrician put in a recessed electrical outlet and run this RCA cable and a HDMI cable from one wall to another via my attic. This cable is for a combo DVD/VHS unit so my little one can still watch some of her older kids movies.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: Great price and fast shipping.

5 out of 5 eggsIts a cable

Pros: It does what a cable should do

Cons: not really a con so much, but you need to make sure whatever you are hooking up has a hot enough signal. Some DVD and bluray players may not have enough signal strength to send the signal 25 feet and have it readable on the other end

4 out of 5 eggscomposite video + stereo audio = problems with 1080i

Pros: Very inexpensive option for component installs. Provides a crisp image with no ghosting at 720p.

Cons: I got scanlines and other image corruption trying to send 1080i over this cable, clearly it's not meant for high-end use.

Other Thoughts: As noted, this is a stereo cable and composite video cable, not a true component cable. Works great for 90% of uses, as long as you aren't looking to hook this up to anything using 1080i.

4 out of 5 eggsgood

Pros: Works great, clear sound and video

Cons: When I tried to unplug the wife the gold part disconnected from the black wire. I pulled it out with pliers and put it back in and it worked fine. Should have more glue.

5 out of 5 eggsDoubles as Component Cables

Pros: Solid cable, great shielding, heavy gauge

Cons: None I can think of

Other Thoughts: I was actually looking for component cables, I needed to go 20' and was disappointed with price options. Since Component and Composite mostly use RG59 cable, and these seem well built, I gave them a shot. Component looks great, and for the price, no way you can find a pair if "Component" cables, these work great !!!!

5 out of 5 eggsPerforms well as component

Pros: It is cheap. Although it is intended to be composite video + stereo audio, I use it as componet cable and it performs very well connecting my DVD player and projector.

Cons: At this length and price - none. It is heavy, but is it a cons? I don't think so.
