5 out of 5 eggsExcellent adapter

Pros: This cable does what it is designed for. I use mine with an older Belkin 4-port switch box with excellent results. Every computer I have tried this adapter on worked perfectly.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: ordered 2 more now that I know it works so good.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm

Pros: I had accidently purchased a new keyboard that was PS2 instead of USB. So it would be cheaper to get an adapter instead of return shipping and reordering. After much research I landed on this model. It works. Within a few moments of plugging it in, the lights on the keyboard turned on and I'm in business. Did not even have to reboot. Heavy duty build.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsworks great in my set up

Pros: works with my kvm switch and microsoft keyboard.

Cons: none that I've found yet

Other Thoughts: this works great in my set up with my kvm switch and microsoft keyboard. I bought a similar item from from another online merchant, named after a large striped cat (won't let me include the name) that cost twice as much that didn't work nearly as well.

2 out of 5 eggsOnly use for slow input

Pros: Works for slower human input

Cons: The keyboard portion of this adapter only works with slower human input. The adapter will drop characters when a device, like a barcode scanner, sends key strokes too quickly. Other brands will buffer the input but not this one.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks nicely!

Pros: Tested on an HP DL360 G7 server. Worked fine with a BELKIN OmniView E F1DB104P KVM Switch http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817103307 4-port PS/2 and VGA KVM.

Tested on an HP DL360 G7 server. Worked fine with a TRIPP LITE B040-016-19 16 Port NetController 19" VGA Console KVM Switch http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817404053

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Got a new server and, unlike the older HPs we have, it did not have any PS/2 ports so our existing KVM wouldn't work with it. Bought this product and 2 others in the hopes of finding one that would work with our server room KVM. Fortunately, this one did!

5 out of 5 eggsBought another one...

Pros: Liked it so much I bought a second one.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought the first one just to check out the quality and see if it would work for me. The first one was solid and I am confident it will last a lifetime. The MoBo only had one connector for keyboard/mouse and I need to run this thru a KVM switch that doesn't have USB.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked Perfectly

Pros: Solid construction. Heavy duty. Will last a lifetime.

Cons: I have discovered no cons.

Other Thoughts: With the advent of MoBo's that have only one keyboard/mouse connector this cable will resolve that issue.
