I used this for an SSD on my build about 3 years ago. Cons: Not fully sure what happened, but found the SATA connector plugged into the SSD on fire the other morning. I felt fortunate that I have a windowed case and could see the flame. I caught this in time and suffered no damage on anything else. Other Thoughts: There was definitely some kind of "low grade" short circuit that heated and finally ignited the SATA power connection. Not sure that this item is a "top quality" unit, but it this was the first problem of it's kind in 7 Computer builds. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you?
