Pros: excellent at what it does. automatic switching is awesome

Cons: wish it came with at least 1 spare hdmi cable and more hdmi inputs

Other Thoughts: have too of these and they still work wonderfully

Pros: - Newegg shipping was fast and free.

Cons: - this product does Not work with either my five year old Denon DVD player or TWCable supplied SA4250HDC set top box - no video is displayed. When the switch is connected between the TV and the TWC STB, it reports that it does not support the required content protection (or similar message).
- identical symptoms on Original AND Replacement switch, two different HDMI cable brands!
- You betcha I will be returning this one ....

Other Thoughts: I'm very puzzled about most peoples success with this device.

Pros: Does what it is supposed to do, and comes with an IR receiver and remote.

Cons: It doesn't come with a power supply. It doesn't it show it in the picture, so I know it didn't. It just doesn't make sense to sell a product without its power supply though.

Pros: Works as advertised

Cons: The auto switching can be annoying, but its minor

Other Thoughts: You need to understand that as soon as a new device powers on this unit will switch over. You can manually switch it back, but if you have a bunch of devices that are always on you could run tino some annoying behavior.
It worked for what I needed very well.

Pros: I was looking for a way to add a few HDMI Connections to main Tv. This switch works great. I just used some command hooks and mounted it behind the media cabinet out of sight.

If you do not want to use the IR and remote to change inputs selections use this switch with devices that will turn off. Move the components that do not turn off on dedicated HDMI inputs on the tv.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: - Easy set up, just plug and play
- Hassle free

Cons: - Not the best build quality but I didn't expect that from a cheap part

Other Thoughts: I used this to hook up my HTPC/PS3/360 to my old plasma tv that only had one HDMI out. It worked just fine...until the tv died (not related to this product) and I upgrade to a MUCH better LG unit. Now this sits in my closet collecting dust.

Pros: Packaged well. It transmits the video/audio without issue.

Cons: It does not switch automatically. At all. Ever. For any reason.

Other Thoughts: I need a switcher to automatically jump from device to device without the need to get up and hit a button manually. This comes with a remote, but who needs ANOTHER remote to keep up with. Epic, total, complete, utter- FAIL.

Pros: Works as intended.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Ignore the people giving this item a low rating because it doesn't come with a power supply. It doesn't need a power supply because the hdmi cables provide the necessary 5V power. The switch auto-detects when you turn on a device and switches to that input, so the remote isn't even necessary. Just make sure to power off your devices when you're not using them.

Pros: Auto-detects the component that turns on and switches to the appropriate channel (no manual switching required)! Very small and doesn't require external power.

Cons: Really none that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: I read a lot of reviews mentioning that the IR remote does not work very well. However, if you don't have to keep the power on for your components, you'll never need the remote. I have my WD TVLive and my Xbox connected to the switch and it auto-detects and switches channel to the activated device. Works as advertised, it's small, and I keep it tucked away behind my entertainment system, so I don't eve have to look at it (a huge plus with my wife).

Pros: Lets me not have to plug/unplug HDMI cables when I want to switch between gaming systems and/or laptop output to my second monitor. Sturdy, comes with a remote to manually switch inputs. Also automatically switches inputs when you power on a device that's plugged into it, which is nifty and saves time.

Cons: None as far as I can tell.
