5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks amd feels really solid, cables didn't come out of the connectors when plugging the cable into itself for infinite energy.

Cons: None that I know of

Other Thoughts: I ended up not needing this cable, I bought it because I thought I would need it when moving to a bigger case. I'm holding onto it in case I need it in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper item

Pros: Just the right amount of length needed if you have a full tower case. Not sure why power supply makers aren't making the4/8 pin cables longer knowing cases are larger now.

Cons: n/a

2 out of 5 eggsWrong Cord

Pros: Looks like a solid cord...

Cons: ...except it wasn't the right one. It seems that it is very difficult to shop for the right mobo cord, especially when dealing with a slimline. I hate hp and all proprietary equipment! Geesh what a headache this has been.

Other Thoughts: So I hope my post helps someone out there. If you want to up convert to a bigger PSU, make sure to READ CAREFULLY. SLIMLINE OWNERS/TECHNICIANS: You are NOT looking for this cord, you are looking for micro atx or itx to standard 20/24 pin. Urg, I'm losing money on this job.

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsBad, just bad

Pros: None.

Cons: Not long enough.
Bulky.
Poorly made.

Other Thoughts: I put this in to handle my 1200watts gold rated CM PSU and immediately had voltage drops on my +12v rail to the point my system would become unstable and shut down and then reboot on. Once i took the extensions off my PC would stay stable at 12.192v with this extension it would drop as low as 10.242. Although i wanted to hide my wires in the back of my PC for a cleaner look i rather have my PC working then not.

Manufacturer Response:

We at Athena Power value our customer's inputs and we would like it if you can contact us at (626) 810-5555 so a service representative can speak with you on how to solve this issue and take down any other feedback you would like to share. Thank you.

4 out of 5 eggsOverall good

Pros: Great, no issues connecting and using.

Cons: Clip is awkwardly placed and a little too low to actually clip from the PSU. Kinda just sits in there.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: Fits Perfectly for what I need it for. I mostly bought it for the mesh around it to give it some more strength.

Cons: Could have the mesh go all the way up, but hey its really cheap what you going to do. I also don't like how the connectors are two different colors.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend it if you need an extension for power.

5 out of 5 eggsbasics

Pros: adds that little extra length to keep the cables tucked in and preventing air flow issues

Cons: the 4 pinand 20 pin don't want to sit flush where it connected to my power supply cable.

Other Thoughts: does it's job at a good price and the braiding does help with the looks

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Work good enough expect I would have like the female connector to sit flush with the 20pin connector

Cons: I found the wiring for the +4 pin female connector made shorter than it should have been. This lead to the +4pin to not sit flush with the 20pin female connector. Minor but it still did the job for the price/
