This right angled SATA cable features a standard (straight) female Serial ATA connector as well as a right-angled (female) SATA connector, providing a simple 24in connection to a Serial ATA drive even if space near the drive's SATA port is limited.

Once the right-angled SATA connector has been inserted into the drive's SATA data port, the shaft of the cable is seated flush with the rear panel of the drive, eliminating the clutter of excess cable at the connection point - an ideal solution for small or micro form factor computer cases.

The right angled SATA cable features a thin, narrow construction that helps to improve airflow within the computer case; the cable also features a rugged, yet flexible design that makes it easy to make the SATA connection as needed. As an alternative, StarTech.com also offers a 24in Left Angle SATA cable (SATA24LA1), which provides the same simple installation as this right angled SATA cable, but allows the cable to be connected to the SATA drive from the opposite direction.

Other Thoughts: There's not much to say, they are 2 feet long and are SATA cables. Colour red.

Pros: Cables work perfectly. On drives that do not utilize the metal latch these cables work great.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I use these cables for SSDs since it seems none of them latch with the cables that have the metal clips. The latch type cable would easily fall out if lightly brushed against. These cables and others like it are just held in with friction. They fit nice and snug, not loose like the metal latch cables.

Pros: Right angle end is low profile enough for the Dell side cover to close. 24" length was perfect for proper routing.

Pros: It's a cable that connects your HDD to your MOBO.

Cons: None what-so-ever.

Other Thoughts: Those other guys that are saying that the right-angled connector is too long, are 100% completly wrong. When fully inserted, it actually sits BELOW the SATA power connector. So this IS a low-profiled right-angled SATA data cable. I have a Dell Demsion and this cable will definitely fit.

Pros: It's a SATA cable in a bright color.

Cons: If you are looking for a cable to fit your DELL machine of any style this cable will NOT FIT.
The right-angle plug, while at the correct angle, is approximately 4mm too high and either your case won't close or you won't be able to mount the cable.

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure what kind of computer this is supposed to fit into but, dude, it's not a DELL.
