Cross Wired Serial/Null Modem Cable DB9 F/F F-F Pros: Dose exactly what it is suppost to Cons: at the time of this review: The price is amost 4 times as much as the Manufacturer. The shipping is a rip off to, if you buy more than one you will be hit with shipping on each one. The price is so high that you could ship each one in its own box and still make a proffit. Other Thoughts: always check the Manufacturer site, and others before ordering from NewEgg. Cross Wired Serial/Null Modem Cable DB9 F/F F-F Pros: It allowed me to hook my Linux box to a Level 3 switch and run a console window on the switch - so if you need to do that particular task, you need one of these bad boys. It's simple, it works. Cons: none Other Thoughts: I agree with the other reviewer that the price is too high by a factor of two. However, the folks that make the cable charge ridiculous fees for shipping so it's a wash - in fact it ends up being a buck or two cheaper here once you count shipping. If newegg listed the correct price, and we could benefit from the better shipping here not to mention the wonderful support here, this product would get 5 stars. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.
