Pros: Well made and fits perfectly in standard PC. Easy install. Up and running with new drive in about 20 min. Reduced cable clutter from IHDE cables.

Other Thoughts: I should have ordered this at the same time I bought the new DVD drive for this computer as it was a SATA drive and I did not have the cable to power it up. (Not Newegg's fault).

Pros: I had a brand new hdd in which i snapped off the tiny plastic peice that keeps the sata data cable in peice, the wire would connect but slight movements would cause an issue, this fixed that issue right away! holding the sata data connectoin in place !! GREAT easy fix

Pros: I over ordered on my first build and threw this spare cord in the drawer. But a recent upgraded needed another power converter to SATA. Has worked like a charm on my DVD burner.

Pros: Great product, though it's not exactly plug in and go. Settings have to be changed to activate communicate thru the SATA connection on the motherboard which this cable connects to. Simple, but non-Geeks have to be told. Works Great!

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Newegg could have paired this cable with the SATA drive as a "likely necessity" if your former optical drive was PATA.

Pros: This is the cable to use to connect drives in your case. I messed up and only ordered one instead of two and had to use the SATA power adapter that came with the MOBO.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This is a great cable though not for one of those weird game cases with a fish tank in it or something.
