Pros: cable seems well made, decent price

Cons: the description is a bit misleading, the interior connector is actually female, the exterior is male - since the interior cable is quite short, you need to make sure it will reach. I.e., you can't connect it to a standard SATA cable, it must reach the motherboard or you must purchase a m/f non-standard SATA cable.

Pros: Well-made quality product. Easy to install in a normal rear expansion slot. If you have a free SATA slot on your motherboard, this will plug in easily, giving you access to SATA from the outside of your PC. Comes with a black rubber dust cover.

Keep in mind that this is designed to extend your motherboard SATA connection to the exterior of your case. The interior plug is the L-type male; exterior is L-type female.

This is not for eSATA; the connectors are entirely different.

Cons: No cons. Works well.
