Other Thoughts: Just wanted to make sure others understand that this item does not adapt RP-SMA to SMA, it only extends the RP-SMA connection. You can see for yourself using the image or from the specs (Connectors: RP-SMA(Male) & RP-SMA(Female))

Pros: It works. Extended my normally 3ft cable to 13ft.
Get a much better signal now since I can position my antenna wherever I need it to be.

Other Thoughts: My computer area has many walls and therefor makes a 50' reach to my wireless router a little difficult. The extended length also allows me to mount the antenna out the window to pick up five more unsecured networks
