StarTech Model PXT101NB3S 6 ft. 3-Slot Laptop Power Cable

Pros: the title pretty much sums up what i think about these cables. it's twice as long as the one it is replacing for my ThinkPad x220 adapter. it's a lot tougher than the one it was replacing, and it is so reasonably price, i ordered two of them.

Cons: apart from the fact that it is slightly heavier than the one it was replacing, no con i can think of.

Pros: - Is a cable.

- Has correct ends.

- Transfers power from the wall to my laptop power brick.

Cons: - Is not magic.

Other Thoughts: Other thoughts? It's a power cable, it had free shipping, was reasonably priced, and works. If only everything was so simple...

Pros: Good, solid cable. Bought as a replacement for a shorter one for better cable management on a server rack.

Cons: A bit pricey.

Other Thoughts: Not sure why someone would give a PRODUCT a 1/5 rating when their complaint is with the business itself.

Cons: I realized 10 minutes after I bought my item that I got the wrong one and tried to cancel my order. there needs to be a cancel button instead of calling in, because when buying after hours there is no one to answer the phones or Live Chat.

Pros: gives power

Cons: can there be a con?

Pros: I bought this in hopes that it would work with my E-Machines Monitor (E19T6W - 19" Widescreen) as it has a non-conventional plug. (Looks identical to the one shown in this picture, rather then the standard 3 prong d-shaped plug you find on most electronics.)

So for the record I have tested it on my monitor and it does infact work awesomely as a replacement cable for that monitor. So if you need an extra for your e-machines monitor (E19T6W) just a heads up this cable should work for you. No leap of faith purchase needed :D

Anyway I hope this helps anyone else looking to get a second/replacement cord for this particular monitor. :)

Cons: None yet. This cable appears to be much more durable then the original one that came with the monitor. Its also cheaper from StarTech's website but they charge way too much in shipping for it to work out to a good deal... :)

Other Thoughts: I wanted a second cable for this for my travel box for LAN parties. E-Machine's tech support was less then helpful in helping me find a place to buy a cord. They basically told me they couldn't tell me where to buy a replacement or sell me one and to try a local shop in my town. None of the stores in my town carry any cords like this. So I happened to find this on new egg and tried it :)

Pros: Very thick solid cable. Greate for replacement or simply having a cable sitting on your desk so you don't have to reach down below your desk every day to plug in your laptop

Cons: price with shipping is a little high for jsut a power cable.

Pros: My International roommate needed one of these to use his laptop with american power outlets.

It does the job.

Other Thoughts: There are two sizes of those plugs, this is the one that fits about 95% of laptop power supplies, but this may or may not fit things like thin clients or macs that look like they have the same plug.

Pros: It's a power cable, and it's pretty durable.

Cons: No complaints.

Pros: It works, needed a laptop power cable, friends one was busted, got this for 'em and it worked like before.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you need a cable like this, buy it, it will work
