This SATA to CF SSD adapter features a SATA male power connector and a SATA male data connector, as well as a Compact Flash port, allowing you to connect a Compact Flash type media card to a laptop computer in place of a serial ATA hard drive. Jesse W. 1/14/2011 11:29:51 PM Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 4/5Gets the job done This review is from: StarTech SAT2CF SATA to Compact Flash SSD Adapter Pros: Works fine on my Intel D510mo, no real problems with it. Cons: Only works when sata is set to AHCI (as opposed to IDE emulation) for my motherboard, not a big problem as I usually run AHCI anyways. Other Thoughts: If you want to keep this inside your case you may want to shield the circuit board with something nonconductive (like electrical tape) so it won't accidentally ground anything out on your case chassis. Shane F. 7/27/2008 6:42:11 PM Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 4/5Works This review is from: StarTech SAT2CF SATA to Compact Flash SSD Adapter Pros: It is recognized by my sony laptop, my dell laptop, a supermicro board, but not my intel desktop board. Cons: My Intel 575xbx didn't see it, but I didn't try too hard either. Other Thoughts: Should work with most any board that a regular sata drive works on. I loaded pfSense on a adata speedy 4gb cf card and the supermicro board with 4 on board 1000 mbit lan ports. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you?
