Cons: Does not seem to work for Mac, have not tried it with Linux yet.

Pros: Looks nice at least.

Cons: Two of the pins in the DB9 connector were shorted together. Glad I tested the cable before connecting it to anything. Connector is molded so unable to take it apart to try fixing it.
