Other Thoughts: Most of the "self proclaimed" on here claim their tech level is high when in fact the person reviewing is nothing but a punk teenager that has no idea what "IT" means. They think if they can hook up a pc they are high tech, what a joke. After they have worked in IT for 35+ YEARS LIKE MYSELF THEY can state that their tech level is high otherwise I simply ignore them as unknowledged with over inflated egos and absolutly no technical knowledge what so ever. Oh by the way I am the real thing, AS degree in electnonics, bachelors in comuter science and masters in Internet security in addition to 35+ YEARS experience. When they get that under their belt then they can "claim" a high tech level. As always these punk kids think they know it all since they can hook up their poor ole grandmas dvd player. LOL!

Pros: This is the right sort of cord for connecting my laptop to the home stereo.

Cons: Arrived broken - the conductor for one channel is apparently damaged so the default is that one channel is working and the other channel is not. I can fiddle with the cable to get the channel working again. The cable is very thin and flimsy and will not stand up to much use even when it is working.

Other Thoughts: Am busy so just getting around to get an RMA but apparently I have exceeded the window when this is allowed by Newegg. So I guess I eat this bad egg?

I would have preferred paying a little more to get something that worked and didn't waste my time. I noticed that other reviews indicated that other customers had same problem. Newegg should remove this item from the catalog and get something that works.

Pros: I use this cable as a sound output for my PS3 into my monitor. Great audio output and very good quality.

Cons: Nothing Against this product, but I purchased it for use with an Xbox 360 VGA kit via the line-in on my PC. It wasn't clear to me that the Microsoft VGA kit came with an adapter, so I'll end up keeping this one as a spare. $6 may have been slightly high for such a simple little adapter, but it was the only one available.
