Pros: Does what it is meant to do and fairly cheap, I am satisfied

Pros: worked good for about 6 months

Cons: stopped working after 6 months. i keep it plugged in to the tv and just hook up my laptop once in a while and it quit working right. for the last 2 months i've have to wiggle and bend the cord near the tv and once in a while it will work. now, it doesn't work at all, i've had it for 9 months.

Pros: Gold Plated fittings. Very well made cable which does what it says.

Other Thoughts: Two main things to avoid any issues.
First, install this cable with the computer and monitor off to avoid any potential damage to the components.
Second, check the S-Video out on your graphics card and make sure it is a 4 pin. Many cards have 7 pin and it would not work for me without a 7 to 4 pin adapter.

Pros: None

Cons: The cable was shorted out upon arrival. As soon as it was plugged in it fried the board on my laptop. I was looking forward to watching my laptop on the tv, but alas, now I don't even have a usable laptop.

Other Thoughts: Buyer beware

Pros: Cheap, easy to use, EXACTLY what I needed for my pc to tv connections. Works exactly the way you would expect it to.

Cons: none so far, except the TV I hook it up to sucks.

Other Thoughts: StarTech is great, I wish I had known about them sooner.

Pros: Works Great with My laptop to TV.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Now I need a longer cable for the other rooms.

Pros: Works perfectly.
Reduces the number of cables and adapters required to connect a computer to a TV.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Using this to connect a MythTV system to a TV. The built-in conversion from headphone jack mini-plug to stereo RCA means I only need this one cable.
