5 out of 5 eggsA little too short.

Pros: Definitely not flimsy. Has a high quality looks, feel and appearance.

Cons: It was not a full 6 inches from tip to tip. I'd estimate 1/8th inch shorter than advertised.

Other Thoughts: If someone needed this and was no more than 5.5 inches. Yes, I would recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 950 any modle that uses 8 pin for power must buy

Pros: if you bought that graphic card get this so it will save you more ports or if you only have one 6 pins or type of connector :D saves you trouble having to look around or if you only have 1 6 pin 12v power cord from the ps and if you have 2 or more it saves you more cords open for other uses like if you want to have like 3 or 4 of the graphic chords and you need more power cords.

Cons: found out late that i needed 2 instead of 1 6 pin since they were not connected on the adapter that comes with the graphic card named above. saves you an extra outlet if you already have 2 or more 6 pins cords from the ps.

Other Thoughts: works pretty well, less cluster inside the pc.

5 out of 5 eggsGot SLI?

Pros: • Works as intended
• Matches my wires
• Small

Cons: • None so far

Other Thoughts: I needed an extra 8 pin connecter for SLI in my rig, and only had 1x 8 pin and 1x 6 pin. i had enough power, just not enough pins.

5 out of 5 eggsVideo Card Adapter

Pros: Worked EXACTLY as advertised. I needed it to install a GTX970 into my Dell XPS 8700. Since I did not upgrade my PSU, and my stock PSU only had 6-pin adapters, I needed this to hook up the 8-pin input of the video card. Needless to say, it has worked flawlessly thus far.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this to anybody who may need a 6-to-8 pin adapter. There is some worry out there that using adapters (especially using it to connect something like a PSU to a new GPU) is not advised, since it can fry or hinder the card's performance. I must say that this adapter does NOT do that, and my GTX 970 has worked flawlessly since day 1. It even came with a small plastic ring in the center of the cords to ensure tidiness of the adapter's cords!

5 out of 5 eggsGets the job done

Pros: Needed this adapter for a new video card since my 750w PSU didn't have it. Converted easily.

Cons: No cons come to mind.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked perfectly

Pros: Inexpensive
Easy to install
Works as intended

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Upgraded to a ASUS R9280X-DC2T-3GD5 Radeon R9 280X video card and didn't realize that card needed a 6 pin and an 8 pin PCI-E connect (Asus was one of the only cards that needed an 8 pin and I didn't realize until I received it). My PSU only had 2X 6 pin PCI-E connectors but this adapter worked perfectly for a quick and easy fix. Will probably upgrade my PSU early next year when I upgrade to an 8 core CPU but for now this works perfectly.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes Exactly whats Needed

Pros: I installed a Radeon HD 7950 which required two 8 pin power connectors. And since my power supply only had one 8 pin and one 6 pin connector, this adapter cable was definitely the missing link.

Everything is all good now.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGreat adapter

Pros: Adapts a 6 pin PCIe power connector from the power supply to a graphics card that requires an 8 pin PCIe connection. Simply plug it in and go.

Cons: If I had to name a con, the wires used to jumper the ground connections over to the two extra pins are a little on the thin side (20 gauge as opposed to 18 gauge for the other wires in this connector as well as the wires coming from my Corsair power supply).

Other Thoughts: This adapter works perfectly with no issues whatsoever. I am using it to power an XFX Radeon HD 7950 that requires a 6 pin and 8 pin connection with an older power supply that only has 6 pin PCIe outputs. The owners manuals from many cards say not to use an adapter like this, but this adapter is built exactly the same way as the 6+2 pin connector found on many high end modern power supplies.
