Cons: Does not work for remote kernel debugging from two windows machines. After a few hours of playing with the cables, it looks like pin 1 maps to pin 1. Which is not the standard configuration for a null modem cable. There might be a way to reconfigure the COM ports to make it work, but it's not worth the headache.
