They were the perfect length that I needed, but the unsleeved wires are a little difficult to manage since there are so many, and a little ugly in a case. Kraftburner 2/1/2013 8:12:16 AM Tech Level: 3/5 Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 4/5Exactly as Advertised Pros: My MOBO has 4 fan headers (1 for the CPU and 3 for the system) I have the new CM Scout Trooper 2 case that has 9 120mm fan mounting points. I am using 6 of those and needed a way to power all 6 fans. These splitters allow me to do exactly what I needed to keep my build cool while under load during streaming/ downloading/ or gaming. Cons: Wish that the 3 wires per fan connector had some mesh or sleeving to keep them together. Luckily I have room behind my motherboard for cable management and some extra zip ties. Pros: - Turns two male 3-pin fans into one 3-pin female. - Perfect for attaching two fans onto a single fan controller switch, or a single Motherboard 3-pin. - Added about 6 inches of extension total since the two connectors are held back by the length of the fan's cables. - Stops your worrying of length. - Helps cable management, especially since most of the mess of cables are to be blamed on fan cables. - All in all, well put together cables. None were loose or iffy. Cons: - I would have liked these cables to have been sleeved even if with a cheap sleeve. Or, they could have been pure black cables. Either way would have been a lot better. The wire's colors are ugly and you do NOT want them in sight. Luckily I was able to hide all of them on the back of the motherboard, out of sight. Other Thoughts: Great for turning two fans into one 3-pin. Though I never heard of StarTech before this, I may now very well be buying more of their products. Did you find this review helpful?
