5 out of 5 eggsDoes it's job well.

Pros: The cable does what it's meant to do, and does it well. It's nice and sturdy. Good insulation. Good connections, don't wobble/aren't loose.

Cons: None really. The clip on the regular, full-size DisplayPort connection is a little bit of a pain to unplug from my monitor, with where it is. But that's not a bit deal, I just leave it plugged in and unplug the mini DisplayPort end when need-be. Pretty sure this cable was designed to be used that way, anyways.

Other Thoughts: It's a good cable, and cheap. Get it, you won't be dissappointed.

I use it from my Dell XPS 14 to display 2,560 x 1,440 on my Dell Ultrasharp U2711. Running Linux Mint 14, if that matters to anyone.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with my Mac mini and LG27EA83

Pros: I have an LG 27EA83 pro monitor (27", 2560x1440). Got a new Mac mini and bought this cable to hook the Mac up to the monitor. Works great from the start (at least so far).

I was reading that some people have issues with various monitors that when the Mac goes to sleep and when it wakes up, the monitor doesn't turn on. Well, in my case using this monitor it works fine. Whether I set the monitor to turn off after X minutes, or put the Mac to sleep and then wake, the monitor comes back just fine.

Mini DisplayPort (Mac) to DisplayPort (monitor) connection.
OS X 10.8.3 Mountain Lion.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked perfectly...until it didn't.

Cons: The signal started patching in and out after 6 months, changing out the cable fixed it, so doesn't seem like its a great cable.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine

Pros: Works fine, connectors seem decent, nice short length reduces cable clutter.

Cons: Not available in more colors.

Other Thoughts: I should have bought two right away, I could have replaced the bulky DVI cable on my other monitor. Now I have to wait another week.

3 out of 5 eggsDis Cable...

Pros: Works Perfectly
Allows for Eyefinity

Cons: Not the best build quality...

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these for an eyefinity set up, they both worked perfectly. After a few months of being plugged in, I tried unplugging the display ports from the monitor (Asus VE248) it was extremely difficult and disappointing. On the first one, the plastic cover that connects the cable to the actual plug began to fall apart. On the second, the same thing happened, but this time the cable and the pins snapped out, but not the actual plug itself, now I cannot remove the displayport plug out of the input from my monitor.
