I have a GeForce 970 with standard display port out. Will this allow me to output 2560x1440 to an Apple Cinema Display?

Sean, I can't speak to specific res or Apple Cinema, but I haven't seen any resolution degradation using this part. To be fair, I haven't tried anything that high, though--it's probably more a question of whether DisplayPort, as a protocol, can support that many pixels. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Hello there, I just bought this Adapter for my Apple display (which has the mini displayport) and I hooked it up to my PC (which has a Radeon R9 370) and the monitor show no image...???

are you sure you have it plugged into your graphics card and you have your graphics card enabled along with checking all connections and make sure that the monitor even work ( i use this cable with my 24in apple cinema display not the thunderbolt one)
