N/A 9/25/2012 8:23:26 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5You can't beat this for ease and price Pros: This is easy to install--you can be up and working with essentially another on-board (100M only) NIC inside of 5 minutes, for much less than you can by the hardware for a PC. Cons: Downside is that it extends about 2.5 to 3" from the usb port, and with the added weight of the Ethernet cable, you wind up having something that is prone to being pulled or kicked out. A simple plastic anchor of sorts could have been fashioned to work around this. Even if it falls out though, it takes fully 10seconds for it to transition to up/up once you plug it back in. Cons: None Other Thoughts: Because of the design of it will dangle off the back of the PC if your using it in a tower. I recommened just getting a USB extension cable and setting on the desk or the ground. That way it wont shake so much when you have Ethernet cable plugged in. Did you find this review helpful? My Chumby One did not recognize it. The Chumby is usually setup to connect wirelessly. However, some wireless security setups require a special additional authentication that the Chumby was not designed for and so a USB-ethernet adapter is required. Not all work. Hunter Communication 1/31/2011 4:27:22 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5Reliable & Compatable Pros: We've been using this as an add in for network testing and network installs. Works well with Windows XP, 7, 2008 as well as multiple flavors of Linux. We ran a constant 30Mbs through it for over a week with no problems where a laptop internal nic failed after a couple of hours of this. It has multiple indicator lights on it as well. Cons: Cheap feeling (not a suprise). Other Thoughts: Inexpensive and works well. If you are looking for something to go behind a PC that doesn't move or if you need something for plugging in and testing. I personally would not use this with a laptop or or netbook as the main nic.
