This TX3 Fan Power Splitter Cable lets you connect two 3-pin (TX3) fans to a single power supply connector, allowing you to optimize your cooling capability without having to upgrade the power supply.

Providing a flexible way to position computer case fans as needed, the TX3 Fan Power Splitter cable offers a connection length of 6in, eliminating the need to strain the connection from the computer power supply in order to reach the fan power connection.

Cons: Reads fan speed from both fans (see other thoughts) Other Thoughts: As others have said, just cut one yellow wire, and connect the one with the remaining yellow wire to the fan you want to monitor. Cons: Expensive for what they are, but these little adapters tend to be expensive. Only about 4 inches long, but fans should have long enough cables to reach wherever they are mounted Other Thoughts: Make sure you check with motherboard manufacture on the capacity of the fan headers. Most will only support up to 1 amp. I have two fans plugged into this splitter, and both are rated at .2 amps for a total of .4 amps per header.
