Pros: Great for those who do not need to worry about latches they could pull and break there drive with!

Cons: No problem

Other Thoughts: If you have drives facing bottom out of the side of the case right over your sata connector these cables are for you. The cables come from the board and connect to the drive that are mounted laying on their side from the top side of the drive. So if you lay the drive on a table the cable would would point straight up.
