Pros: Works
Doesn't short anything
What else could you want?

Cons: You could get it cheaper in a local store.
Shipping is more then the cable

Cheap Connector

Pros: Does the job. Let's a person run more fans with a cheap mother board without a bunch of fan ports. Which is pretty important for high performance gaming rigs like mine.

Cons: Bought 3 of them. Melted one trying to run a 5v fan on a 12v rail and it almost started a fire. Oops. And one of the other ones had one of the wires come loose fortunately I noticed it before I plugged it in. Plugged back in just fine and it still works. And even the melted one still works. I'm not using it though.

Other Thoughts: They do the job, but check your wiring to be sure none of the wires have come loose.
