Other Thoughts: As an Old Timer, I like the assuring sound of the Beep on POST. I find it amusing that some people complain that this is Cheap. Yes it is, but what do you expect for $5.00. If you are willing to spend $2,000 on building your system, what’s another $5. Buy 2 if you are worried about a DOA Beeper. Lol. I’m happy that New Egg has them for my convenience. One stop shopping.

Pros: It does what it should. Beep(s) is perfectly audible.

Cons: Not really a lot of room for error here.

Pros: It beeps, nice and loud.

Cons: Kind of steep for what it is. Felt like it payed for itself when it told me it was in fact my graphics card and not my motherboard or power supply that was causing problems.

Other Thoughts: Got three day shipping and rush processing, arrived three days after purchase. Very little to say about something like this, it's hard to fault it for anything unless it doesn't beep.

Cons: I accidentally ordered two because it said my card was declined the first time, but apparently it went through anyway. Giving it to a friend.

Other Thoughts: Please note that if you dont have a connection spot on your motherboard for this then you will not be able to use it. as stupid as it is, you cant hook this up to just any motherboard

Pros: I was not able to get 100% of my build at once. The Corsair case I got didn't have a speaker. After assembling the mobo, CPU, CPU cooler, DIMMs, and PSU outside the case, it went BEEP.

Cons: Tone could be better? Chorus of angels or eagle screeching might be cooler than beeping...

Other Thoughts: May as well get one if your case does not include it. It's cheap piece of mind.

Pros: This little jewel is an essential component when building a new system. The Power On Self Test (POST) is your first line of diagnostic tools.

Pros: works great and the part that plugs into the pins was solid on mine and not lose and separated like others i have had before

Cons: price could be a little cheaper for what it does

Pros: It's a speaker. It clips onto the MB speaker pins. It beeps on post.

Cons: You have to pay for it. Not a knock on the speaker, More of a comment on case makers and MB makers that don't put a speaker on their boards or include an external one with then.

Other Thoughts: Intel has been putting a speaker on their MBs for some time now and some, but not all, of the other MB makers have followed. So guess some case makers have stopped putting a speaker in to cut cost. I just keep a couple of these in stock in case I need one for a build.
