4 out of 5 eggsGood overall but not fantastic

Pros: The PC2TV does exactly what it says it will do. It allows you to access a projector / TV wirelessly. It is extremely easy to setup as well. Just plug in the monitor cable and the power supply and your off to the races.

The software updated the devices firmware automatically.

Tech support was fairly good. Their website is a bit dodgy and requires you to create an accont. Also there is not phone support. But the email responses where quick ( 2 - 3hrs ) and the where presented in a manner that was fairly easy to follow.

Device and software worked perfectly on Vista. Haven't tried it in XP yet.

Cons: The software is the problem. While it works, it is slightly sketchy and clunky. I also had problems installing it on Windows 7 RC1 x64. But with tech support I was able to over come the problem. Even when I was able to install it on Win7 the connection never worked quiet right. Also the included mirror drivers disabled some Aero interface support. As of now I am waiting for a solution from TS.

Resolution is a bit low but it also could the be the portable projector causing the issue.

Other Thoughts: As long as you a some knowledge with computers and are are not on the bleeding edge, this product should be fine for you. I do recommend it as a solution to allow multiple computers to have access to a single monitor / projector / tv without having to physically switch cables, or having to run multiple cables with a physical switch.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The adapter has accomplished what I wanted, which was to be able to use a projector without hardwiring to my computer. It communicates well with the Intel-Pro card in my laptop, either directly or with the supplied software. I was able to have it up and running in a short time (<30 min).

Cons: I have not been able to make the connection through the device to my wireless network, but this was something I needed so I haven't spent time working it out. The hang-up may very well be with the router.

Other Thoughts: Addlogix has two models, I spent some time trying to figure out the difference and still don't know. Some clarity on their part would be helpful. I ended up picking this one because of the Newegg reviews.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised but not complete.

Pros: I am using this for a church to output to their projector that is mounted on the ceiling. Does the job as advertised. This device basically creates a second display on your system and has the same options as a second monitor. Great for Word, Powerpoint and other forms of static graphics.

Cons: It requires the software to be running to create the second display. Video and Audio played on the second display is out of sync. Max recommended resolution for video on second display is 800 X 600 although it will output 1024.

Other Thoughts: Didn't quite fulfill my needs as the video/audio is out of sync.

3 out of 5 eggsMy fault I guess..

Pros: Arrive quickly in Newegg fashion.

Cons: There is only one of them.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this to mount my projector on my high ceiling and connect it to my computer. The picture shows two devices, but I can see how it is just the front and the back. In order to connect to my projector I will need another one. I am now deciding whether to return it or spend twice as much. Dont see how one device is useful. I feel that it could have been spelled out better for first time buyers.

3 out of 5 eggsGood with a major flaw

Pros: Does the job it states, a little flakey at time. Can't chaneg the hard coded IP address on the unit.

Cons: Be warned that the IP address on this device is hardcoded to and cannot be changed. There is a place in the program to set the IP but it only adds this IP as a secondary IP. My firewall has the IP address and I did not relize that the PC2TV was hardcoded with this IP and it brought down my firewall when it was plugged into the network. As of today I have yet to hear from their tech support for a fix. Their only fix was to change the IP of my firewall but that is not an option for me on a 250 node network.

Other Thoughts: Could be better if tech support got their act together. In order to contact them you have to fill out a form on their website which is fine except that the link to the form is hidden! You have to click in the right place to find it. Also, there is no phone number to their tech support, I found it by doing a Google search for it.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing little equipment

Pros: full motion wireless video is amazing. I am able to connect to from my laptop and send video content wirelessly to the device. Its very well designed for home users and business applications. Oh it also plays my full motion DVD at great frame rates. it can also bridge from one wireless network to another so you can get on the internet too.

Cons: maximum resolution is 1024x768 at 32bits. pretty good for being wireless but I would expect 1366x768 for most wide screen TVs, monitors and projectors

Other Thoughts: Although I did not make my purchase directly from newegg I happened to browse and landed on this wireless device when i was searching for "dvi to vga adapters". i purchased mine directly off their site.
