Does it or does it not block the second receptacle when it's plugged into a duplex wall outlet? Thanks

OK, I just checked it. And the answer is: it depends. How's that for a non-answer. Yes, it does block the second receptacle if the cord your trying to plug in the second receptacle is a three prong plug. There is not enough clearance above this surge protector for the bottom prong of the plug to fit in the second receptacle. And No, it does not block the second receptacle if the cord your trying to plug in the second receptacle is a two prong plug. There is enough clearance above the surge protector for a two prong plug to fit in the second receptacle. Hope this answers your question and helps. Merry Christmas! TomD

What are the physical dimensions of this device?

It's not exactly compact! It's a healthy 5"L X 1 7/8"H X 1 5/8"W with the wall plug retracted. It is well built and does work well.

What is the output current of the USB charging ports? Is it suitable for charging tablets or other devices that use a 5V 2A charger?

From the back of the device I found this is model TRVL918 which I googled. From the Cyberpower web site for this device it says: "USB charge ports: 2 (1A shared)". I read this to be 1 amp total between the two. So if you only use one USB Charge Port, you get the full 1 amp. If you use both, they are limited a total of 1000 millamps (1 Amp) between them.
