KINGWIN ADP-07 USB 2.0 to SATA Adapter

Pros: came in right away. nice packaging, easy use, small and portable for gear bag. nice blue light indicator on the top too!

Cons: i have nothing against this product.

Other Thoughts: the plugin gets kinda warm, but i think its nothing for me to worry about.

Pros: Works as expected. Restored data from a friend's drowned laptop drive, so I know it'll come in handy for me when I need it.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Another pleased Newegg customer.

Pros: Had a customer with a burned up laptop & needed to recover her data off the SATA hard drive on it. I could have plugged it into a SATA port on my motherboard, but I decided to buy this little gem instead. It was much faster and easier!! Well worth the twelve bucks!!!

Cons: Not one thing!!

Other Thoughts: Glad I bought it! Will use this thing a lot I'm sure!!!! If you do data recovery, this is a great tool to have!!!!!!!

Pros: Plug and play, worked well with both SSD and standard 2.5" drives, small so it's easy to fit in my tool bag.

Cons: The SATA connection is bent. The unit bends upwards when connected to a drive causing some concern at first. But everything works so I am blaming poor manufacturing. It feels cheap and may not last very long in my tech bag.

Other Thoughts: In short it gets the job done. When I am on a job this is quick and easy to pull out and clone with.

Pros: Cable and adapter were as advertised

Cons: HDD spins up when connected to USB port but computer does not invoke plug-in-play on Windows 7 computer. The USB port is good because I was able to connect other devices. Don't have another 2.5" HDD to test to know whether it is the cable/adapter or HDD

Pros: worked with windows 8-used twice no problems

Pros: Compact, doesn't need external power supply

Cons: Doesn't work on 3" drives

Other Thoughts: I should've read the description careful enough, expecting it to work on my ol' 3" ones. It doesn't. And it's clearly said in the specs: 2.5" drives...

Pros: Works as advertised. No problems with my mac. I can even boot from it. I love the extra convenience of not having to run a separate power cable.

Cons: None really.

Pros: Works as expected. USB 2.0 speeds with Laptop HDD. It's not clunky so it doesn't get in the way of things. For the price of this thing you can't beat it. If you need to turn your Laptop HDD into a external, this is the USB to SATA Adapter you should get.

Cons: One problem which stopped me from giving it 5 eggs. The connector itself can get a little warm. Nothing really to worry about but wouldn't stop me from buying it again.

Other Thoughts: I needed to buy this because I was putting an SSD in my Laptop to speed things up but I needed space so this came in handy when connecting my 650 gb Laptop HDD at a cheap price.
