Great, when it wants to be
Pros: - Active!
Cons: - plastic casing over the adapter is too big (it's similar to putting a 2.5" HDD in a 3.5" enclosure.)
Other Thoughts: I woke up one morning to see that my card had disabled my third monitor, I assumed that the driver crashed overnight and tried restarting... too bad for me, the adapter itself seems to have gone bad, I've tried switching ports, switching monitors, and vga cables. everything else works :(

MDP-1 on Dell XPS L502X (windows 7)
Pros: It does work on my XPS L502x , but only after DELL support updated several drivers on several devices.
Cons: Seems cheaply made, Mini Display Port (DP) end cover slides back and forth, sometimes preventing full connection into Display Port , seems flimsy. Make sure when you plug it in, you push it in with the cable and not the plastic cover,
Other Thoughts: Don't expect to just plug it in and work, as i found out, it may require several driver updates to various devices.
