Pros: None.

Cons: Flat doesn't work, I have no idea why I decided to actually try it. DVI-D is never meant to go to VGA, and never will. This adapter can't possibly work, don't be an idiot and try like I did.

Pros: None

Cons: Unusable

Other Thoughts: This will not convert a digital DVI-D signal to VGA. There are devices that will this but they are cost prohibitive for most purposes. It is probably cheaper to buy a DVI-D compatible monitor.

Pros: none

Cons: This product can't possibly work by itself because analog doesn't just convert to digital and back based on pin arrangement.

Other Thoughts: If you're buying this thinking you're going to plug an vga/svga into a dvi-d port then you're going to be disappointed because without a full video converter, that will set you back a good bit of money, that isn't possible. I wish this had occurred to me before I bought this; hindsight is 20/20 after all.
