This review is from: Tripp Lite HDMI Over Cat5 Passive Extender Remote Unit B126-1P0
Pros: It works up to, and slightly beyond, its recommended distance for 1080p (60Hz). We were able to get a bit more than 75 feet out of it.
Cons: None. Works as expected.
Other Thoughts: We would buy this passive receiver again for similar distances. For longer distances you must go with the active receiver. From what I have seen, the shielding of the Ethernet cables does matter. Cheaper cables will probably degrade the signal more quickly. Stick with Cat5e/6/6a if possible to get the most distance.
