Tripp Lites Angled Cat6 Patch Cables are ideal for where connections are in tight quarters. Choose from Up, Down, Left, and Right angled cables, depending on your situation. Reduces stress on the cable, and excessive bending. Great for switches and patch panels in networking racks, or behind desks and wall connections. Meets or exceeds Cat6 specifications. Fully molded ends for a lifetime of use.
Exactly what I needed, but make sure you get the right one
This review is from: TRIPP LITE N204-010-BL-RA 10 ft. Cat 6 Blue Color Gigabit Right Angle to Straight Patch Cable
Pros: Works great so far at 1 gigabit speeds. This is for a laptop with an ethernet port on the left side, and its nice to have the cable not stick out straight.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Make sure you get the right one. This N204-010-BL-RA is for the "right facing" cable, which means if you're looking at the ethernet port, and it has the little clip slot on the bottom, the cable will come out and go 90 degrees to the right. In my case, my laptop's ethernet port is upside down with the clip slot on the top, so it comes out 90 degrees to the left, toward the back of the laptop, which is what I wanted.
