I think maybe the mdp is complicated to make. Anyway this one works out of the box and doesn't have a chunky mdp end like past cables I've owned. Other Thoughts: For some reason I have bad luck with display port cables, particularly mini display port to dvi cables. I think maybe the mdp is complicated to make. Anyway this one works out of the box and doesn't have a chunky mdp end like past cables I've owned. We'll see if it lasts a year, but so far so good!
