I have Windows XP and lost the CD that came with the drivers. After a month Vantec is not helping at all (bad customer service). Where else can I download these drivers? Windows XP will not recognize it.

hey Richard, I use this device with Linux and Win 7. As long as I have my usb 3.0 ports set up correctly, the adapter works fine. Check your usb 3.0 drivers and I think you will find your problem. Of course the first thing I always do is check my wiring and hard connections, including the adapter and the usb device in the computer. I hope this helps. I really like the adapter. What about 4TB drives? Is the website just not updated or does it not work with 4TB drives? Is there anything like this that does work with 4TB drives???

That question has to do with more than just this device. You must have an OS installed that can handle/see 4tb files/drives/images to make this product work like win 7 pro 64 bit. Check all your documentation and do some reading. I have not tried it with a drive of that size yet.
